Why Careers Expo
Careers Expo is the only event that presents enormous variety of possible career options, if you’re seeking to upskill, considering a career transition or simply looking for new employment and talk with industry experts in a variety of sectors.
Students in Year 9 can begin developing the framework of their tertiary or vocational pathway options and consider their post school life journey. This expo is an excellent source of information to assist with upper school subject selection.
Students in Years 10 – 12 will benefit from connecting with education and training institution experts to help shape their future.
For parents and guardians, the expo offers an insight into their child’s career interests and leverage conversations to participate and guide in the career planning process.

For over 20 years Careers Expo has showcased of over 100 organisations from local and national universities, various vocational and professional training providers, industry associations, employers, relevant support and facilitation organisations.

Careers Expo are proud to partner with zero2hero to collaboratively promote and support youth mental health during a typical period of high academic stress, pressure to perform, while searching for their future career. Our partnership will help future generations build resilience, skills, and confidence not only to manage and navigate their own mental health, but to identify and assist others to do the same.
Venue Location
Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) is located on the Swan River in the Perth central business district. The venue is accessible by foot via Brookfield Place from St Georges Terrace or via the pedestrian bridge over Mounts Bay Road.
Public Transport Options
PCEC is on the doorsteps of the Elizabeth Quay Train and Bus Stations and the Elizabeth Quay Jetty. Travelling to the expo by train, bus or ferry is safe, simple and convenient. City of Perth Parking
The expansive Convention Centre Car Park is located under PCEC. The car park is operated by the City of Perth, offering 1,500 bays including 23 ACROD spots. It’s open 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Stairs and lifts lead directly from the car park into the venue.
Taxis and Ride Share
Taxis and ride share services operate drop-off and pick-up services to and from the front door of the venue. An adjacent taxi rank is available in front of the Parmelia Hilton Perth Hotel on Mill Street.
