Why Careers Expo

Careers Expo is the only event that presents enormous variety of possible career options, if you’re seeking to upskill, considering a career transition or simply looking for new employment and talk with industry experts in a variety of sectors.

Students in Year 9 can begin developing the framework of their tertiary or vocational pathway options and consider their post school life journey. This expo is an excellent source of information to assist with upper school subject selection.

Students in Years 10 – 12 will benefit from connecting with education and training institution experts to help shape their future.

For parents and guardians, the expo offers an insight into their child’s career interests and leverage conversations to participate and guide in the career planning process.

For over 20 years Careers Expo has showcased of over 100 organisations from local and national universities, various vocational and professional training providers, industry associations, employers, relevant support and facilitation organisations.

Careers Expo are proud to partner with zero2hero to collaboratively promote and support youth mental health during a typical period of high academic stress, pressure to perform, while searching for their future career. Our partnership will help future generations build resilience, skills, and confidence not only to manage and navigate their own mental health, but to identify and assist others to do the same.

Venue Location

Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) is located on the Swan River in the Perth central business district. The venue is accessible by foot via Brookfield Place from St Georges Terrace or via the pedestrian bridge over Mounts Bay Road.

Public Transport Options

PCEC is on the doorsteps of the Elizabeth Quay Train and Bus Stations and the Elizabeth Quay Jetty. Travelling to the expo by train, bus or ferry is safe, simple and convenient. Visit Transperth for information on bus services or call their Infoline on 136213 (TTY: 9428 1999 for the hearing-impaired).

City of Perth Parking

The expansive Convention Centre Car Park is located under PCEC. The car park is operated by the City of Perth, offering 1,500 bays including 23 ACROD spots. It’s open 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Stairs and lifts lead directly from the car park into the venue.

Taxis and Ride Share

Taxis and ride share services operate drop-off and pick-up services to and from the front door of the venue. An adjacent taxi rank is available in front of the Parmelia Hilton Perth Hotel on Mill Street.

The City of Perth manages and operates the 24-hour Convention Centre Car Park under an exclusive arrangement with the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Keen2connect acts as an intermediary to manage the process of reserving parking bays as a service to our exhibitors. We recognise the inconvenience and delays caused if exhibitors are unable to secure a parking bay during expo days especially on busy weekday peak periods. However we are required to adhere to certain conditions to make this offering available.

A reserved parking pass is $50.00 per bay, per day You are not obliged to book in advance. Parking availability is subject to demand and dependent on venue and city-wide activity.

Due to the popularity of this centrally located carpark we offer the option to guarantee your spot(s). We note from past events this parking station fills quickly particularly mid-week. To guarantee parking we kindly ask you to note the following conditions:

  • Complete this form, carefully selecting the number of bays per day. Submit your order no later than Friday 28 March 2025
  • An invoice will follow upon order receipt and payment is remitted no later than Friday 4 April 2025
  • Once Keen2Connect confirm the number of bays required with PCEC on Monday 7 April 2025, changes, cancellation or refunds cannot be accommodated.
  • Parking passes will only be available for collection from our reception desk outside Pavilion 4 during exhibitor Move-in between 13.00pm – 18.00pm on Wednesday 14 May 2025 or Thursday 15 May from 7.00am until the expo opens at 9.00am. Please collect your passes prior to parking your vehicle.
  • Your reservation guarantees the availability of parking bay(s) on a per day basis for the days booked, anywhere in the parking station. No specific bay(s) locations are allocated.
  • Parking passes permits one-time entry, per day.
  • City of Perth Convention Centre parking reserves the right to change prices with 60 days' notice. Pricing remains fixed once ordered and paid for.
  • After collecting your passes, entry to the car park is from Mounts Bay Road opposite Mill Street.


  • Please note, strictly no further extension on parking orders after cut-off dates. If this deadline has passed, parking will only be available on a subject to availability basis on the day.

    Public Liability Insurance Form

    It is a condition of your participation in the Careers Expo 2025 ("the Event") that your organisation ("the Client") demonstrates to Keen2connect it holds an insurance policy which includes Product and Public Liability cover with a minimum of $10 million. The cover must respond to any claim against damage or injury caused to third parties/visitors on or in the vicinity of your exhibition stand ("the Stand") be valid for the period ending no sooner than midnight on 19 May 2025.

    To comply with this, your organisation must provide a copy of the Certificate of Currency for its insurance policy evidencing the minimum coverage of $10 million per claim. The Certificate of Currency must be received by Keen2connect no later than 2 May 2025 and be valid until the period ending at midnight on 19 May 2025.
