Launch students careers at Careers Expo

WA's only complete careers, training and employment expo returns in late April 2021 with even more inspiration on careers, tertiary education and vocational training. Alongside the usual huge array of local and interstate tertiary colleges, universities, training organisations and industry associations you’ll find the VET Expo showcasing apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities. Careers Expo 2021 + VET Expo will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre - and entry is free.

The best time

The Careers Expo 2021 + VET Expo is held in late April. Opening hours are between 9:00am and 3:00pm on the weekdays for school goups and between 10:00am and 4:00pm on the weekend for family groups. This is the right time of the year as it sits at an important juncture for secondary school students: near the start of Term 2; well ahead of when they must register for tertiary education courses and in advance of the university open days.

The best venue

The Careers Expo 2021 + VET Expo will once again be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC). Located on the edge of the Perth CBD, it's within walking distance of bus, train and ferry services and well-connected to the Freeway and other major roads. The venue's amenities include cafes, coffee shops, wash-rooms and expansive public foyers for congregating groups. During the event, the venue is configured to facilitate visits by large school groups including special provision for buses to set students down inside the pavilions - for more details, download the PCEC Venue Entry for Buses plans.
